Some deputies have been reporting issues when dealers have been filling out the pre-apps on DVS’s e-services website.
If the vehicle is currently registered/ titled in the State of MN the dealer must select “No” when answering the question if it is “returning to state”
If the dealership accidentally selects “Yes” for a MN title vehicle, the registration will restart from the date of sale. This would cause vehicles with valid registration to have to repay.
