The tip of the day is regarding the new/old $10.00 registration reinstatement fee that you may see within MNDrive. This fee was previously charged in e-support but went away with the roll out of MNLARS.
When is it being charged?
If a customer files a report of sale a “sold” flag goes on the record. The customer has 30 days from that date to come in and transfer the title. If the customer does not transfer the title within that time period the registration goes into suspension. Once in suspension, the customer will have to pay an additional $10.00 once they do come in to transfer the title in order to reinstate their registration.
