Many of you have probably seen customers bringing in the new renewal notices. The barcodes on them are unique to MNDrive. The system is able to detect that this particular barcode is for a registration renewal and will bring you right into the transactions.
Here are the steps to do so:
1. Instead of clicking on the “New customer/ Session” button click on the “Scan Barcode” button.
2. Scan the bottom barcode on the renewal notice. This should bring you right into the transaction and always you not have to associate the session to a customer like you do for other transactions.
Note: Some offices are still not able to get their barcode scanners to read the new renewal notices. Other offices have reported that only the bottom barcode on the renewal notices have worked. If you are unable to get yours to work please let me know so I can report this issue to FAST/ DVS.
Reminder: The new renewal notices are not to be used as registration cards. A new registration card must be printed with each renewal.
